Zoom Group Session Offerings with Jim:
Fridays at 5pm
In the midst of social distancing, I am grateful to offer a weekly Yoga Nidra practice you can access via live-stream from anywhere. My intention in offering this practice is to cultivate a sense of inner resourcefulness to support meeting all the sensations, emotions, thoughts, and joys present during these unprecedented times. This ~40 minute guided meditation enables recognition of your peace of mind which is always present amidst all changing circumstances of life. Each practice will include time for a chat session where you can share your questions, reflections, and concerns, followed by a guided meditation practice and a closing opportunity to chat. These sessions are free to all and you are invited to extend the invitation to your wider community. No meditation experience is necessary.
Yoga Nidra Preparation Recommendations
- Find a comfortable, quiet place where you can be peaceful for an hour
- Dress in comfortable clothes and set-up your space with any other atmospheric elements that support your practice
- You can practice in a chair, in bed, on a yoga mat with props to support you and a blanket to keep you warm
- Five minutes before class, click the link provided to enter the class
- Please mute your microphone when you come into meeting

Friday, April 3 5:00-6:15pm Deep Healing at Home – FREE
Join me in my living room as we discuss the different ways you can use pillows and blankets at home in order to create your own deep healing yoga practice. Following the discussion, we will practice together, coming into a quiet resonant field and regulating the system through restorative yoga poses.
Monday, April 6 10:00-12:00 The Power of Resources – FREE
Our current environment provides us with this incredible opportunity for building conscious awareness and stepping into personal growth. We are all riding this wave together! We are always seeking out resources, sometimes consciously. Most often, resourcing happens unconsciously. Resources help us connect to the earth, to ourselves, to others, and to the present moment. They bring us into a sensation of safety and comfort. Let’s bring into conscious awareness- the resources that you already use, and build in new resourcing tools. Let’s come together and share experiences, thoughts and feelings. We can teach each other about resourcing and begin to further our empowerment through connection; with each other, and through all the different resources that are available to us. Class time will include discussions, and different resourcing techniques. It will end with a meditation focused on resourcing.
